I’m Jess!

I’m a professional makeup artist who specialises in bridal and special occasion makeup.

I especially love working with brides to create stunning makeup looks that are radiant, elegant and soft. Think fresh, flawless skin, fluffy lashes customised to each person’s eye shape and preference, and beautiful but subtly defined features. Never cakey or heavy and always just to enhance everyone’s natural beauty. My absolute goal is to have anyone I work on feel like the absolute best, most gorgeous version of themselves.

I don’t usually wear much makeup and had only had my makeup done a couple of times in my life before the wedding, so it was one of the things I was most nervous about when planning the event. But as soon as I had my trial with Jess I knew she was the right artist for the job. My kit is extensive (unfortunately for my back!) and holds a wide variety of brands. My favourites include Nars, Giorgio Armani, Fenty, Hourglass, Stila, Becca and MAC to name a few.

Over the years I have come to find my favourite products from each brand. I have colours and formulations for every skin tone and type. You can rest assured you will receive a beautifully matched makeup application with only the best luxury and professional makeup and skincare brands.
I highly recommend booking a trial consultation before a wedding. During this one on one consultation we can discuss your style preferences and I can create the perfect look for each person.You can then approach your wedding day with confidence and a peace of mind knowing you will have the beautiful look you had envisioned for your special day.
At the trial, we will discuss all your style preferences and for makeup and chat about skin and skincare to optimise the makeup.Then a full makeup will be done and notes and pictures taken so the look can be perfectly recreated on the day. If you like, I will also give you a list of products used so you can purchase any lip colours or touch up products that you may want for the day.
I am able to use the very best products and methods in my application to ensure makeup lasts as long as possible. I have found a few favourites that not only look beautiful on the skin, but perform incredibly well under wedding day conditions. After a long day of kisses and hugs, eating, drinking and dancing, the makeup can sometimes require minimal touch ups here and there and I can supply you with the basics for this or recommend a few key touch up items to take with you on the day.
I like to allocate an hour per person on the day which ensures a relaxed experience with plenty of time and touch ups at the end for everyone.
I can perform basic hairstyling (especially for smaller bookings where time allows both) but makeup is what I do best. It is recommended to book a separate hair stylist to ensure things go smoothly and to time on the day. It also halves the time it takes to get ready and is a far more relaxed experience. Depending on your location I can likely recommend some amazing hair stylists too!
